At Advent Church, we exist to worship God, invite all people to Christ, nurture one another in faith, and serve with compassion.
Every Sunday, we gather to be renewed, to celebrate God’s grace, to encourage one another, and to find strength for the week ahead. Together, we share life’s joys and sorrows, discovering that faith and community are stronger than anything we face alone.

Come exactly as you are. Business casual, jeans, or your Sunday best; you’re welcome either way. Most people dress casually, so you’ll feel comfortable right away.

Each worship gathering lasts about 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to connect with God and the Advent Church community .

Our worship blends time-honored liturgy with vibrant music. You’ll hear hymns and contemporary praise songs, join in prayer and Scripture, and hear a clear, relevant message that connects Jesus to everyday life. All words are displayed on the screens so it’s easy to follow along.

Absolutely. Kids are celebrated here. Families are invited to stay together, or children can join Sunday School at about 9:15 AM during the 9:00 AM service. For parents who prefer the child-friendly “prayground,” younger children can stay in the sanctuary while still being part of worship.

Sundays at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Both services are easy to navigate and welcoming for first-time guests.

We’re located at 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, PA 19382, just one-eighth of a mile south of West Chester Pike (Route 352). You’ll find plenty of parking, flat walkways, and accessible entrances to make your visit simple and stress-free.

Of course. You don’t need to know anything ahead of time. There’s no dress code and no pressure to participate in any specific way. Simply come, experience worship, and if you’d like, one of our welcome hosts will be glad to show you around and answer your questions.

Arrival & Parking:
Our large parking lot off Green Lane has plenty of spaces (including handicap parking). You’ll find clear signage to our building. As you walk in, you’ll be greeted, offered a bulletin or directed to screens, and shown where everything is.

Worship Experience:
At 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM each Sunday, we gather for meaningful worship that lasts about an hour. The service blends rich tradition (organ & piano) and contemporary praise music, includes a children’s message, and invites all baptized Christians to take communion if you wish. You’ll see people of all ages, including families, professionals, and retirees—all welcoming you without expectation.

Children Welcome:
We love having children! During the 9:00 AM service, after the children’s message, younger kids are invited to Sunday School at ~9:15. For those who prefer, we offer a “pray-ground” in the back of the sanctuary where children stay with a parent but have space to play quietly and participate.

Refreshments & Community:
Between or after services, join us for coffee, conversation, and connection in the Social Hall. It’s the perfect time to meet someone new, ask questions, or simply relax before heading into your day.

Accessibility & Care:
Our single-level facility is fully accessible: flat walkways, reserved seating for wheelchairs, large-print screens, and ADA-compliant restrooms. If you have special needs or concerns ahead of your visit, just let our church office know. We’ll be glad to help.
